Charity Concert, a success!

Organized by Kwong Wah Yit Poh Press, sponsored by PASSION Trading Sdn Bhd,
with co-organized by various supporting bodies, a charity concert was
succesfully held on 22nd February 2008 at Dewan Sri Pinang and raised
RM150,000 for SJAM EMAS Penang to purchase emergency ambulance.
The co-organized bodies include Penang Lioness Club, Lions Club of George
Town Central, Penang Chinese Town Hall Youth, Hang Chiang Ex-Pupil
Association (Wanita Section) and Penang Youth Federation. Noise Performance
House & EZ Match Venture are the sponsors for the stage decoration.
Meanwhile, Show Gear Production Sdn Bhd, the sponsor for the sound and P.A
system of the night.
Various singers from Taiwan as well as local
were presented on the night. A mock cheque was also presented by Kwong Wah
Yit Poh General Manager and Passion Trading Sdn Bhd Director to the St. John
Ambulance Malaysia, Penang State Commander cum EMAS Penang Chairman, YBhg.
Dato' Dr. Yee Thiam Sun.
